It was such a pleasure to be a part of T.Y. and Peter’s big day. You might remember when I shot their engagement photos a few months back. These two are filled with joy, compassion and a love for God and their wedding day was a beautiful representation of the state of their character. They held their wedding atop a beautiful ski resort, Schweitzer Mountain. During the winter the mountain is filled with skiers and snowboarders and… well… snow. During the summer though it’s the perfect place to hold a wedding.
While we were out shooting portraits of the bride and groom alone between the ceremony and reception, two women in a pickup truck drove up. They rolled down their window and yelled, “Wanna take photos at our castle?” When somebody asks you a question like that, there’s only one answer. Yes. So we shot portraits at their castle.
Fun fact: The word ‘swag’ was used more at this wedding than any other wedding… ever.
